Miguel Morazzo was born in Portugal, in the autumn of 1986.

A season our senses have ceased to recognize, however, his own still lived glory days of this state of soul. Sun in libra and moon in sagittarius, it’s Uranus in conjunction with the ascendant and Saturn in the 12th house that imposes the will to contribute to a shift in consciousness and the exercise to better distinguish facts and fantasies. From an early age, he knew that arts were the path he wanted to follow.

His academic training officially began at Visual Arts High School António Arroio, where he finally felt in his habitat. The next step was taken at the Lisbon Higher School of Theatre and Cinema, where he completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Theatre – specializing in Stage Design.

Miguel took his first professional steps as a costume and props assistant in productions by portuguese creators such as André Godinho, André Teodósio, Cão Solteiro, Filipe La Féria, Rogério de Carvalho and Vasco Araújo, as well as in the field of photography, where he frequently collaborates with the artist Margarida Rodrigues (MAR) as an art director. He has extensive experience in the field of interior design, where he explores his creativity working side by side with Célia Morazzo. His first milestone as a costume designer took place in september 2015, when he presented his first work for the show "Sabina" by the theatre company Al Teatro. From 2016 to 2017, he worked with the production company Original Features as head of wardrobe on the feature film "Portugal Não Está à Venda" by André Badalo. In 2019, he represented his country as a set designer and art direction advisor for "ODUS – Portugal Night", presented by the Portuguese Gymnastic Federation at the 16th World Gymnaestrada. 2021 marked another turning point, when he began working as an art director in cinema. His debut was alongside the multi-award director and actor Welket Bungué in his short film "Prima Ku Lebsi". Currently, alongside other projects, Miguel was selected to be part of the official portuguese representation in the "Students" section of the Prague Quadrennial PQ23.
